General Content Module Settings: Besides the general settings described in Part 5 of this guide you can also set the following:

• Content Template: You can pick from two styles of templates either Top Down or Side by Side. Which template you select will define which layouts you can select (see next). Additionally when you pick Top Down your image size will be defined by it's height and when you pick Side by Side the image will be defined by it's width. See more below on the image settings.
• Content Layout: There are three layouts for the Top Down template and four for the Side by Side template.
• Show Titlebar: You can choose whether you want the module title bar to show or not. For example if you are using the module for a banner you might turn off the title bar. Note: The title bar will always show when you are viewing the page in private mode or you would not be able to access the Edit link.
• Show Background: You can also choose to turn off the module background and border. Again this would be suitable for banners and single images, you may find that if you have text content in your module that it could become difficult to read.

Note: You can apply any combination of template and layout to the module regardless of whether the module is in the left, right or wide column. You should however consider that some layouts look better or worse in certain columns. For example if you have a lot of content the Side by Side template does not usually work well in the left column.

If you pick text that is too large the module content may flow outside of the module especially in the left column. If this happens consider: changing the font size, choosing a top-down template or moving the module to the right/wide column

Make sure to click the Save Button when you are done or you will lose your changes.

Display Title and Content: both of these area have the same controls:

• Show: You can choose to show or hide the title and/or content. If you have entered content it will not be deleted so you can always just turn it back on if you would like.
• Editor: The editor is virtually the same as the blog editor described before except that you can also format the text size. Note the following:
  • Alignment: The normal alignment for the module is left so if you want to centre text it should be done here.
  • Colour: The background of the editor is always white, your module background might be a different colour so format accordingly.
  • Errors: If the editor starts malfunctioning and starts outputting odd content it's recommended to select all and delete; then start over.

Display Image: You should note the following image settings:

• Show: Just like the title and content you can show or hide the image.
• Image Name: Use the Browse button to browse your image folder for the image you want to show.
• Height: If you pick the Top Down template the image is defined by its height. No matter what size you select the image will never exceed the module width.
• Width: If you pick the Side by Side template the image is defined by the width of the module. No matter what size you select the image will never exceed the 75% module width.
• Note: In both cases you can select that an image be sized to Actual size. The image will size to it's natural size unless that would exceed the widths described above.
